Before the legendary Norwegian Christian black metal act Antestor forged their legacy, the members founded CRUSH EVIL in 1989. And long before the churches were burning, Antestors signature atmosphere of sorrow and divine darkness lay solid in the form of utterly heartfelt death doom. In the year of our lord 2026 we see this historical monument of defiance in an extensive 20 page CD release and for the first time on LP. The release encompasses Antestor´s two first EP´s “The Defeat of Satan” and “Despair”, music that laid important cornerstones for Antestors nothing short of legendary impact. Both for the Christian metal scene, but just as well a torn in the side to all that see black metal as inherently satanic. Antestor was hated by some, alienated by most, and embraced by the One.
