The long-awaited fourth album by South German melodic death metal band Thy Bleeding Skies will be released on November 13. After the band had been on hold between 2016 and 2025, their ambitious project of creating a concept album about the First World War from the perspective of the people who experienced and endured it themselves was also put on hold. Now, 12 years after the release of their last full-length album, "Seconds of Immortality" (2014), the time has finally come.
The band around Claudio A. Enzler (among others My Darkest Hate, Sacrificium) combines classic doom death metal with melodic passages, clean vocal arrangements and powerful death metal riffs on the new album, creating a sonic world that captures both the oppressive weight of war and the fragility of the people trapped within it.
