When Bloodgood released Rock In A Hard Place in 1988, it caught many fans completely off guard. The blistering metallic attack of the band’s earlier releases gave way to a more melodic, polished, and emotionally layered hard rock approach — but make no mistake, this album still carries the unmistakable passion, conviction, and power that made Bloodgood one of the most important bands in Christian metal history.
